Bryn joined the Owlers in June 2008, after a very fleeting window opened to 2 newcomers, who were so persistent in wanting to join us! 

Born in December 2005, English Bull x Staffordshire Bull terrier Bryn became our first starter dog in a long, long time along with little Tyson, a very diverse pair of beginners!

Despite a quite interrupted introduction to training, starting during the full swing of the summer season Bryn learnt quickly, but was hampered a little by not being the ideal build for jumping, especially with the clubs lack of height dogs.  Owner Ian set to the task of slimming her down and fittening her up and she now looks great, single striding over 14" jumps she couldn't actually get over when she first started!

With no starter team to run with, Bryn is going to debut in open competitions in 2009, initially just doing recalls and warm ups with one of the teams, getting her used to the noisy environment, as contrary to what her breeding would suggest, she is a fairly timid, nervous little lady.  She has been more than ready for starter competitions for some time so it would be unfair to hold her back any longer and we are sure Ian's hard work in getting her match fit will soon be rewarded.
