Born June 2003, Springer Spaniel Charli probably ranks as the most ball obsessed 'Owler. All flyball dogs love their tennis balls obviously, but this little character has the most ridiculous craze for them, with any loose balls being snapped up in milli-seconds, so much so in the ring we usually have to collect the opposing teams' balls for them as well if they are a bit slack at doing so, otherwise Charli heads for the nearest one, not the one waiting for her in the box!

Charli started competing in 2006 but only gets to the more local comps otherwise she would be a big points earner.  She is however, quite particular about the conditions she runs in, preferring a nice warm sunny day (not too hot mind), rain, mud and wind can tend to bring her out on strike!

Her real love is indoor tournaments run on matting when she really comes into her own, so much so you would think she has a twin sister who comes out in winter.  In fact she does have an older sister in Holly another of our club mascots, she may be in her dotage but has the odd few runs at training when the height dogs are out.  The one thing the 2 girls do share is a love of food, they will sniff it out from miles away and are both partial to a gallon or two of Pow Wow as well!
